Arrived at table 7:45pm, peaking duck served 9:10pm, Sitting on table 53, Waited almost 2 hours for food to arrived, was told by manager that the meal will be on them, came to the counter and still ended up paying $49.57 for the whole meal, which they said it’s on us tonight???? When you said it’s on us, don’t worry about it... it is supposed to be a free meal. Food was good, sadly not the service.

Came here for dinner and everything was spot on. Reliable every time. Classic Cantonese dishes done right — fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, and perfectly cooked. The Peking duck set — crispy skin, juicy meat, just perfect. Crab roe xiao long bao are rich and bursty, garlic pork ribs are super flavorful and tender. Signature dishes never disappoint, from the first bite to the last. Clean, bright space, great for family, friends, or business. Seriously, Attentive staff and steady service，every dish hits — definitely a go-to if you want proper Chinese food in Melbourne.

Found a total gem in Docklands! Bright Palace is famous for dim sum, but their dinner menu is where it’s at. The $88 Peking Duck is an absolute steal—crispy skin, generous wraps, and it comes with delicious duck noodles. I saw the table next to us order three! We also loved the Garlic Pork Ribs and the Fish-Flavored Eggplant, both packed with authentic "wok hei." The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Great atmosphere and much easier to get a table than the busy city spots. If you’re craving authentic Cantonese food or the best duck deal in town, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Great experience overall - it's my new favourite! Generous serving, reasonable pricing. Their dimsum were plump and fresh. There's 1.5 hr time limit, and towards the end only the dessert cart is available. All the staff speak good English and are able to explain the dishes clearly. We did order a few savoury dim sum when those carts stop coming but unfortunately it never arrived.

You get to see the steaming dishes firsthand and simply point to what looks good. It’s a fast-paced, "visual" way to eat that makes the meal feel like an event. ​How the Pricing Works ​The food is served in sampling-plate styles (perfect for sharing), and each dish is categorized into five tiers. Based on my recent visit, here is the price breakdown per plate: ​Standard: $9.80 Large: $11.80 ​Medium: $10.80 ​Supreme: $14.80 ​Deluxe: $18.80 ​The Food ​The core of the menu revolves around prawns, beef, and pork, prepared in a variety of ways—from delicate dumplings to savory stir-frys. Don't stop at the savory stuff, though; make sure to grab your desserts straight from the passing trolleys as well! ​Pro Tip: Bring the Whole Crew ​Because the dishes come in small sampling portions, the bigger your group, the more variety you can try.
