Chilli Padi Docklands

Forgot to post from a few weeks ago... Great hidden gem in Docklands. The best Char Kway Teow in Melbourne, hands down. The wok hei is insane. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made the experience great - and can give provide good recommendations too. Highly recommended for any work lunches or pre-event at Marvel or just a dinner. Definitely will be coming back!

Service here is great, owner very welcoming. The food was amazing, meant to take the photo at the beginning but smelt so good we ate it quickly. Recommend the roti with satay sauce and the crispy chilli chicken, yum yum

Had a great dining experience at Chilli Padi Docklands. The food was flavourful. Portions were generous and everything came out fresh. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the waterfront location makes it a lovely spot for a relaxed meal. Will definitely be back!

Highly recommend new Msian restaurant Chillipadi, chef owner Robert is passionate about food and service and have instill in his staff such virtues. Highly recommend their Char Kway Teow with generous portions, not too dry with just the right wok hei. The Laksa is also very nice and fragrant, sauce is just right and not too thick or too much coconut milk cream. The Satay and sauce is also excellently char grilled with satay sauce just right, smooth and very tasty. Also highly recommend their Wat Tan Hor and round off the meal with delicious and hot Teh Tarik. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

First time dining here. Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who spends time to go through the menu and provide suggestions with a smile. The food is authentic and not feeling thirsty after the meal. We ordered CKT, Mee Goreng,vegetarian laksa, prawn Hargow and chicken Simai. Everything is tasty but the highlight is the Siumai it’s made freshly steamed (15 to 20 min wait we ordered at the end) so it’s very juicy and tender. Will definitely come back again to try other things.
