Great service at the Russell St branch. The place is clean and I’ve been here many times, always impressed. The taste is consistent and delicious. My go-to dishes are the Signature Mala Soup and the Signature Stir-fry Spicy Pot. Highly recommended!

Broth absolutely spot on. Customer service is stern but great, as their crowd control skills were needed when I was there. So many people were lining up on a cold night. Have been to both La Trobe and Russel locations and never disappoints.

One of the worst hot pot I have ever tried. Bowls and tong were not washed properly. Very poor customer service, the staff never greeted us, we went in stood for few minutes wondering what to do. The front of house staff was the worst, never attended the customers, was mostly behind the counter. The free bowl of rice wasn’t given. Most of the ingredients kept in fridge weren’t fresh or maintained clean. Veg and non veg were mixed together. I would never visit this place ever again. The we tried all the soup, everything was okish not up to the standards. Please do not visit this place, especially this branch.

Delicious malatang! I’ve been here many times and the soup base is always rich and flavorful. Great ingredients and fast service — highly recommended.

Went for the Level 3 Signature Malatang Soup. The soup was incredibly aromatic and flavourful, with a bold, lingering heat that built up fast. Definitely spicy, but still enjoyable without overpowering the depth of the broth. Ingredient selection was on the simpler side, but the quality of the soup carried the meal.
