Grain Asian Cafe - Boxhill

This wasn’t my first time eating at this place. Although I don’t come often, the taste is usually okay, even though there are many better options. Today I had the stir-fried beef noodles, and I could taste a lot of MSG. The service wasn’t friendly. Sorry, but this will be my last visit.

Loved the texture of the dried noodles. Chewy and springy. Just like the ones we had in Hong Kong. Dishes are big portion and flavourful.

Amazing delicious signature dish of pork organ noodle soup. Freshly hand made pork meatball and fillet with delightful fired crispy pork fat dices. On top of that the potion is huge hence I cannot barely finish it as a grown-a-ss man. Always one of the best option in my winter menu.

Re-visit this place recently after a long while. One of the reason, we could find a table to sit. This place is always busy!! We had congee and chicken sticky rice. They were tasty but heavy MSG. They have many different type of buns to choose from. Worth a try.

The price keeps rising, but quality is slipping. A $10 chicken bun should offer value — not a thick bun with barely any filling. It feels like cost-cutting is taking priority over customer satisfaction.
