Seafood and tofu soup, absolutely delicious. Fried rice was cooked special to my request as well. Not to salty definitely will be back, everything was 10/10, service is really friendly too. 😋😋

Spending a week in Adelaide, we stumbled upon this fabulous authentic restaurant, we enjoyed delicious, fresh and tasty dishes. Prices were incredible and we ate there twice as we wanted to keep sampling the menu. If you love authentic Cantonese food this is it! Try the duck and salt and pepper squid, incredibly delicious.

We were looking forward to dinner considering the reviews. On a Thursday evening, it was a ghost town with only 2 of us in the whole restaurant. Service was fine but we didn’t enjoy the food. The entree was overcooked and bland, we had to ask for sauce. The duck was okay and the second dish of rice needed soy and chilli to give it taste. The countertop next to us was covered in dust and the bottle of sav blanc was served warm

Very high quality food which took tremendous effort and time to prepare and present but it was absolutely delicious. The manageress was also exceptionally courteous and friendly in her very open communication with all three of us, and welcoming too. We love the sizzling Mongolian beef the best, the braised pork trotter the second. The scrambled egg water cress soup was sizeable, piping hot and delicious too. Only the scallop s were slightly more chewy than we normally prefer but they are very tasty too. We enjoyed the ambience and the very market friendly price too. The restaurant is 60% full but maybe not too many outside of the mainland Chinese community knew of this place. If more Malaysians and Singaporeans know about the quality food here, they will enjoy and revisit like I do too.

Dinner at Guangzhou Restaurant on Morphett St (where Ming's steamboat used to be): we are always on the lookout for good Cantonese food here in Adelaide, and they definitely deliver! No frills in terms of service, but the food is excellent 😍😍. . Roast duck: excellent roast duck with tender and juicy meat and crispy skin! Nicely done 👍👍. . Steamed chicken: very tender chicken! . Salt and pepper squid tentacles: the batter is nice and crispy but not too heavy or thick. The squid is soft and not overcooked. Delicious! . Salted fish eggplant hotpot: one of my favourite dishes! Best to eat it with some rice 😍.
