3.5/5
Food was quite decent — especially the grilled eel, Chinese sausage, beef fat, and capelin fish.
The ‘chicken cartilage’ felt more like regular chicken skewers, since there was barely any cartilage (maybe just 1–2 pieces 😂), but at least the meat was tender.
The chicken skin was mostly burnt, the heart didn’t seem very fresh, and the grilled beef with century egg was overcooked and came out a bit dry.
Steamed rice was a little dry too.
The peanut and cucumber side dish could use a bit more tang — the seasoning lacked that sour kick.
Open until 1AM, so it’s a solid late-night spot. Definitely better than that MSG-heavy skewer place across from QV 🙃
