Sanhe Congee

The Mog Champ sends his regards. It's nice to visit a congee specialty restaurant especially when I have a sore throat. Ordered their fish century & scallop congee along with a shrimp corn congee. The restaurant is quite compact and simple. Service is friendly and fairly quick, it wasn't that busy - seems like they do take away deliveries more often than people dining in. best congee in melbourne so far! its near QVM and tram stop, not too crowded so its easy to get seats! food was amazinggg, especially the century egg n fried bread stick🤩 had the chicken and corn congee twice cus its just that deliciousss. always ordered 1 portion and share with my friend bcs its so filling alreadyy. GET THE SALTED EGG BUN ALSO, its soooo goodddd. will defo go back🙂‍↕️

***Highly recommend*** Sanhe Congee, just a stroll away from Queen Victoria Market and located on Victoria Street is the perfect place to have a light comfort meal with a vast menu of Chinese dishes from snacks, dim sum offerings and of course congee. Plenty of options to choose from so best to go with friends and share the dishes around 😊 Staff are super friendly and a good atmosphere. Will be back again to try other congee flavours and small dishes!

Been here a few times and food is always delicious and comforting! Got takeaway today instead of usual dining in and it’s as good. Love that they always make your order fresh so when it’s busy you’ll have to wait patiently. Highly recommend if you are looking for scrumptious homey food.
