I usually come to this Asian supermarket quite often as it’s close to my workplace, but today’s experience at the checkout was really disappointing.
When my card declined, I was about to pay in cash, but the cashier showed visible impatience, sighed loudly, and spoke to me in an unfriendly tone. Even when I asked about the correct amount (since there’s a card surcharge), I was told to “just look at the screen” in a dismissive way.
As a regular customer, I really value good service, and this kind of attitude makes the shopping experience unpleasant. I hope the staff can treat customers with a bit more patience and respect.
